When I opened the seal on the Doggy Bag, a fresh, Runtz-like odor graced my nose as well as filled the room. All in all, I thought this was an impressive smoke and certainly exceeded expectations. There wasn’t much flavor loss towards the end and I definitely started to feel the effects of this one before putting it out. The overall burn was good and easily the best out of the three offerings I got from Commcan this time.

The Doggy bag resulted in a nice white ash which was supported by a heavy res ring to go around a solid cherry. The pulls were all-around smooth and this did not lead to too much pressure nor coughing. Needless to say the Doggy Bagg was packed with flavor and probably more so than any other Cookies flavor I have tried in Mass so far. The only change I noticed was that the floral terps during both the inhale and exhale although I strongly felt that this flavor blended in well with the z terps on this. There wasn’t too much of a shift in flavor throughout the total duration of the sesh. Additionally, I noticed was a slight mustiness within the exhale. In my opinion, this was a great buffer to those candied terps as it added a bit of twang to the overall flavor profile. On the way out, this strain retained almost all of the thick candy terps drawn in during the inhale, however, I encountered more of a floral spice on the exhale. I also felt a bit of piney floral to go along but the candy terps on this were dominant as ever. When I sparked up the Doggy Bag in an Organic RAW, there was no surprise by the overload of z terps from the initial inhale. Naturally, the quality of the design put those expectations high for what was inside the Mylar bag. In this case, the Mylar bag displays the cover art to Snoop Dogg’s 1993 debut album, “Doggystle.” Personally, I thought it was a good choice for a collaboration that featured one of the most prolific weed smokers ever. Whether you hate or love Cookies, they manage to put some of the coolest bag designs together whether it is their own creation or a seminal piece of art. Without question the bag got my attention. Let’s waste no more time and get into the facts. Despite some let downs on those two I still had confidence this would be a home run. I also have never tried this offering from Commcan prior to reviewing it (as opposed to Gary Payton and The Soap). I knew this strain from the jump was going to have a candy twist and I was excited since I am a fan of fruity and candy terps. This particular one is with Snoop Dogg that features a cross between Zkittles and Grandiflora’s Project 4516. The Doggy Bag features one of the many collaborations that Cookies has done since its existence. and this time we will be covering the Doggy Bag.
